This is my second year teaching at St. Francis. I teach 5th through 8th grade math along with 8th grade technology. I have a high amount of passion for math and love working with the kids to improve their skills.
I graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in hospitality management and later on from Maranatha Baptist University with my masters degree in Arts and Teaching. My family has lived in Spooner since 1990 and I have lived in the area at different times over the years. I previously attended SFDS in the 90's along with my sister and two brothers. My mother previously taught here for about ten years. I am honored to continue the family tradition of being a part of the SFDS school and community.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy working outside at my house, playing frisbee golf, and playing and watching almost any sports. I have two young daughters, Kendra and Celine. Kendra is part of the 3K program here at SFDS and Celine will be attending the school next year. It brings me tremendous joy to see my daughter(s) at school with me each day.
Never hesitate to say hello to me if you see me around! I love meeting new parents and am always available to discuss what is going on in our classroom.
